Biography
I’m a Berlin-based Digital Operator and Retoucher with over two decades of experience in photo production. Since 2007, I’ve worked with international clients, leading photographers, and on large-scale campaigns across a wide range of demanding production environments.
I studied Photography at the Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie in Berlin. My work is defined by long-term experience on set and in postproduction, where precision, reliability, and a clear understanding of complex workflows are essential.
Approach
On set, I ensure stable, fast, and secure workflows – from wireless tethering and color management to data handling. I work in a structured, efficient, and highly routine-driven way, supporting both the photographer and the wider team in maintaining a productive flow throughout the shoot. Clear communication and calm decision-making are central to how I operate, especially under time pressure. I anticipate issues before they arise and resolve them quickly, minimizing downtime and keeping the production focused and on schedule.
Retouching & Standards
In postproduction, I focus on precise, unobtrusive retouching that supports the image rather than overpowering it. By combining on-set expertise with retouching, I approach projects efficiently, consistently, and with full control over the final result.
